UK recession 'not yet inevitable'

I must have been on another planet or something but this headline seems a touch lame as as far as I am. Aware the United Kingdom along with its nieghbours Europe have all been paddling along the edge of the dreaded recession. Businesses are strugling , households are struggling and those blasted fuel prices including petrol are so over inflated making everything seem much worse. I did think that perhaps with some stability in Lybia that we might now be seeing lower prices at the pumps but once again this allnseems to be very much wishful thinking on my part . Still there is always tomorrow .
